Tareq Saleh: Houthi Crimes Won't Deter Sanaa Retake

Vice President of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, General Tareq Saleh, has stressed that the Houthis' crimes, including the targeting of military sites, will not deter the armed forces from carrying out their national duty and restoring the state and its capital, Sanaa.

His remarks came during two telephone calls with the Commander of the First Emergency Brigade, Major General Yasser Abdullah Al-Ma'bari, and the Commander of the Third Emergency Brigade, Major General Ammar Mohammed Tamish, following the Houthi terrorist attacks in the governorates of Hadramout and Marib, in eastern and central Yemen.

According to the "2 December" news agency, the calls were made to offer condolences for the martyrdom of a number of heroes in a treacherous attack carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia on camps and units deployed in the governorates of Marib and Al-Jawf, while they were performing their national duty of securing liberated areas, international roads, and combating Houthi smuggling networks.

General Tareq Saleh conveyed his condolences to the leadership of the two brigades, the families of the martyrs, and all members of the armed forces. He lauded their high combat morale, their proficient handling of the situation, and the steadfastness of the fighters in their positions. The Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council underscored that these crimes will not deter the armed forces from fulfilling their national duty and restoring the state and its capital, Sanaa.
