Tareq Saleh: Iran's Bab al-Mandab scheme crushed, Sanaa liberation next

The Vice President of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, General Tareq Saleh, stated that the armed forces on the western coast have succeeded in breaking the Iranian project that had planned to declare control over the Bab al-Mandab Strait today, following days of fierce and ongoing battles between the Yemeni army forces and Houthi militias west of Taiz.

In a statement today, General Tareq Saleh stressed that the launch of fronts against the Houthis and Iran will enhance steadfastness and achieve victories until the liberation of Sanaa, in light of the battles witnessed on numerous fronts, including in the governorates of Al-Jawf and Al-Bayda in the north and center of the country.

General Tareq Saleh renewed his emphasis on the goal of liberating Sanaa and the entire national territory, and putting an end to the Revolutionary Guard project and its militias in Yemen.

Saleh's statement came during his visit to frontline wounded soldiers in Mokha hospitals, where he checked on the health of the commander of the Fifth Division of the National Resistance, Brigadier General Adi Al-Amad, and other injured Yemeni forces personnel receiving medical care.

Earlier today, Monday, General Tareq Saleh held a phone call with the Commander of the Taiz Axis, Major General Khaled Fadel, to follow up on the latest military developments and field conditions across the axis's various fronts. He commended the sacrifices of the "armed forces' men," affirming that all fronts are one unified theater of operations and will only be a graveyard for Tehran's ambitions to control the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
