Yemeni army advances against Houthis in Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda, and Taiz

Yemeni army advances against Houthis in Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda, and Taiz

The spokesman of the Yemeni army, Colonel Majed Al-Nuzaili, announced today that the armed forces are continuing their steady advance and achieving victories on the Al-Jawf and Al-Bayda fronts, concurrently with ongoing confrontations on more than one front on the western coast and Taiz, southwestern Yemen.

Al-Nuzaili stated in a press release today, a copy of which was obtained by Nashwan News, that "the army forces are achieving progress and victories on the Al-Jawf and Al-Bayda fronts, within the framework of operations aimed at restoring state institutions and ending the Houthi coup."

The armed forces spokesman called on Houthi militia elements to leave the axes of advance and vacate their positions with their light weapons to preserve their lives.

For their part, local sources reported that army forces from the First Division of the Yemeni Emergency Forces advanced in Al-Jawf, and took control of the strategic Al-Labanat camp in the governorate, while continuing their advance toward the city.

In Al-Bayda governorate in central Yemen, sources revealed that forces from the Giants Brigades advanced in several locations and are approaching the Sanaa-Al-Bayda road.

Al-Nuzaili said, "Our armed forces are on the outskirts of Dhi Na'im in Al-Bayda, preparing to enter it," amid reports of casualties among the Houthis.

Regaining strategic sites in Taiz

In Taiz governorate and the western coast areas, which have seen battles for days, local and military sources confirmed that Yemeni army forces managed to recapture important sites in ongoing battles against the Houthis on the Al-Kadaha front, where the Houthis had recently attempted to achieve a breakthrough but sustained heavy losses. The group has not yet issued an immediate comment.
