National Resistance: Houthi Attacks from Hadramout and Marib to Coast Declare War

The Political Bureau of the National Resistance has condemned what it described as "Houthi terrorist assaults" that struck Marib, the western coast, Al‑Daleh, and other areas, deeming them a broad declaration of war against the Yemeni people, the end of the fragile truce, and confirmation of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's determination to expand the conflict into Yemen through the Houthi militia.

This came in a statement issued today, a copy of which was obtained by Nashwan News. The Bureau said it had followed with "utmost concern and national responsibility" the terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia, which targeted a number of camps and units of the armed forces deployed in Marib and Hadramout governorates with ballistic missiles and drones. The strikes resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded in a horrific massacre that shook the national conscience and demanded immediate action by the legitimate government to save the Yemeni people from the Houthis' growing terrorism, both on land and at sea.

The statement added: "In the face of this dangerous escalation and this broad popular outrage, the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, while condemning the Houthi militia's crimes as a reversal of the peaceful settlement path, aligns itself with the position of the Yemeni people. It calls upon the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to shoulder their national and historic responsibilities in light of the Houthis' atrocious crimes that put them to the test. There is no longer any justification for not mobilizing fronts to rid our people of the terrorism of the Iranian‑backed Houthi militia."

The Political Bureau reiterated its "steadfast position to continue the struggle alongside our people and the forces of the Republican camp, sacrificing what is most precious to liberate our country from Houthi terrorism and restore the capital Sanaa, whatever the sacrifices." It expressed its warm condolences to the families of the righteous martyrs who fell in today's treacherous attacks, wished the wounded a speedy recovery, and renewed its pledge to exact retribution from the killers, sooner or later, as stated in the statement.
