Yemeni Navy Seizes Iranian Drone Components En Route to Houthis

Yemen's National Resistance navy seized a shipment of Iranian drone components in the Red Sea, cutting off Houthi supply lines and proving high operational readiness.

Brigadier General Sadiq Dawaid, the spokesman for the National Resistance Forces in Yemen, announced today that the Yemeni naval forces had seized a shipment of drone components that was en route to the Houthis.

In a brief statement, a copy of which was obtained byNashwan News, Dawaid said: "Confirming the high readiness of the Yemeni armed forces, the Navy of the National Resistance carried out a qualitative operation in the high seas of the Red Sea, through which it seized a shipment of Iranian drone components."

He added, "This success proves once again the vigilance of our forces in protecting our territorial waters and cutting off Iranian supply arteries, and the Houthi failure to protect their smuggling networks despite their desperate shelling attempts."

Concurrently, the military media of the National Resistance broadcast footage of the shipment of Iranian drone components, which the Yemeni Navy intercepted and seized in the Red Sea while being transported to the Houthi militia.

According to the source, the footage includes components and parts used in the manufacturing and assembly of drones, as part of the shipment seized by the National Resistance Navy during an operation in the high seas of the Red Sea.

The operation falls within efforts to intercept the supply lines of the Houthi militia and prevent the arrival of military equipment and technologies sent by the Revolutionary Guard.
