Al-Hudaydah: Government forces advance on two fronts and reach the outskirts of Al-Jarrahi

Multiple local sources in Al-Hudaydah governorate, western Yemen, reported today that Yemeni army forces have achieved a significant advance on two fronts and reached the outskirts of Al-Jarrahi city following fierce clashes with the Houthis.

While local sources confirmed to "Nashwan News" that government forces had reached the outskirts of Al-Jarrahi, the military media of the National Resistance reported that its units, backed by military units from the Giants Brigades, launched a counterattack and achieved consecutive victories in a sustained offensive since the morning hours on the Saqam and southern Al-Jarrahi fronts on the western coast.

It added that the men of the Second Division of the National Resistance are inflicting heavy losses on the Houthi militia in the Al-Muhraq mountains within the Saqam axis, noting the seizure of enemy weapons, including Grad rockets.

In southern Al-Jarrahi, the terrorist Houthi militia has suffered heavy human and material losses, and the battles are still raging fiercely.

Concurrently with the ground offensive, the National Resistance's aerial drones destroyed Houthi enemy reinforcements in southern Al-Jarrahi with precise strikes.

This comes as fighting continues at full intensity on the other western coast fronts—Al-Kadaha and Al-Barh—for the fourth day, with the Houthi militia sustaining heavy losses.

The western coast fronts have witnessed fierce battles for days, following mutual shelling and a Houthi attempt to advance on some fronts west of Taiz.
